Durbin voices support for an expansive pathway to citizenship provision in the Democrats' reconciliation bill - going beyond focusing strictly on DACA recipients.

"I hope it goes bigger,” he said. Durbin conceded it’s still not known if it meets Senate's strict budget rules.

Surprise, surprise. They don't have the 10 Republican votes to even open discussions on the bipartisan bill.

I dont understand what yall want Biden to say? He cannot come out and flat out say what you want him to say because itll immediately create the wrong attention on the parlamentarian. You know the gop is looking for anything to campaign on against him.

There is a very high chance this is the plan. It is just another gimmick and opportunity for the Dems to show they are trying to do something. Do not get your hopes up. Be cautiously optimistic but don’t be surprised if we see a statement from Chucky saying something along the lines of, “We look forward to passing Dreamer legislation at a later date. I urge my colleagues blah blah blah”

Thank you, Republicans!

[inb4: Republican apologists saying they were not elected to help us, but blindly not seeing that helping us is the right thing to do at the end of the day, regardless of party.]

Never forget when Schumer said….

"We believe strongly in the dreamers, but we can't just let that occupy the whole stage, we have to fight for the middle class."

I wouldn’t be surprised if he sells us out again.

Imagine if we had a solid 10 or 15 Republican senators speaking out and saying something like: "We want to secure the border by enhancing/funding technology at the border and also think it's fair to offer a pathway to legal status for Dreamers."

Something fair and reasonable. None of that cunning shit like Cornyn was doing. If we had that, that's all it would take. Just a minority of Republicans being sensible and reasonable. We know the majority of Dems would back that. Poof! That's all.

Will thay ever happen? Fuck no. Fuck Republicans and their fucking backwards and racist base. They are the problem 99.99% of the time and always have been.

It's fucking pathetic Congress has to resort to this parliamentarian and infrastructure shit to even have a minute shot at passing something for us. Utterly pathetic. The LOWEST fruit on the immigration tree and they can't come together on a simple fucking bill to pass for Dreamers. How any of you have an ounce of faith is totally beyond me.

Dumbfounding. A gut feeling I have is JUSTJHONBS isn't even a DACA, more like a red neck republican infiltrated to wreak havoc in this mofo. Posibly BEINGOFLIGHT tooo.

Not 2Face though, he's just a brainwashed moron however.
