That doesn't make any damn sense and it makes me furious. My sister submitted her stuff at the same time as me and she received her permit last week.

Madness I tell you. What they keep saying is that every case is different. Yeah ok.

It's crazy I don't even know what to make of it, I'm beyond stressed about my renewal and reading about how much difficulty everyone is going through is not putting me at ease. And the fact that USCIS is processing April files when people from previous months haven't been renewed yet.

Maybe they are taking long cuz they have to reverify all original documents since there was a lapse in daca time. Just a thought. However, 8+ months is more than enough time for thek to veriify their own records.

I believe my lawyer resent everything I sent the first time and I also sent some new documentation like school paperwork, bank statements, pay stubs, income tax returns, bills. I sent plenty of information, I think they are just incompetent.

I was thinking of doing this. When did you resend your application?

Emails I received from:

USCIS-CaseStatus@dhs

Sept. 14

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.
