So far no one knows. It could be released from any day from tomorrow to next year to never. I wouldn't wait with bated breath though, some thing tells me this is going to be grinded out as long as possible by all parties and factions involved. Plus if the electoral calculus works out the way it usually does, this will end in a defeat(assuming Dems and Tea partiers oppose).

If the proposal is fair in every aspect and Democrats vote nay,--->@#$%^&*()_#$%^&*()!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It can be expected from many legislators from the right to vote nay. But, if the Democrats vote nay on a bill that ends up being fair in EVERY ASPECT, then Dems deserve to be criticized.

Dems(based so far on Rubio's and Durbin's comments about the nonimmigrant visa) seem to oppose the bill based solely on two reasons. Firstly and primarily, this steals the issue and ownership of it away from them, they do not want that, politics therefore takes precedence over ideas. Secondly, they will argue the bill reduces many dreamers to second class citizenship and is a cruel political charade that is a slap in the face to hispanics. So far not evcn one democratic legislator or writer has commented well on the bill, and some republican outlets are even going haywire against it and already calling it amnesty. Something just tells me nothing is passing in this climate.

I realize like many members on this board that (as of now) most democrats reactions to the bill are irrational, but there arguments are based on power politics. If either party really cared about the plight of undocumented youth, an executive order by the president or a congressional bill would have been passed by now. The dream act has been stolen from us, it is no longer about us, but about politics and the direction this country will take. The democrats do not want to move the immigration discourse rightwards, they have seen the danger of that on the economy and national security. Therefore to preserve there interests they will defeat this bill, not flock towards it, to do the opposite would completely be a black swan event(both parties actually working in a tandem on an election year over a hugely controversial issue that would steal traction and support away from the one party that has made this act a cornerstone of it's policyhouse?). Plus you guys are forgetting the American populace's say, I hate to break it to you guys, but support for the dream act is split 50/50 on most polls and many Dems and Repubs would feel attacked by there opponents and constituents if they even dare to even vote to legalize us. Plus the Dems most likely would not lose massive latino support if they even vetoed this act, again the law itself is a clear latino pandering bill and that's a powerful argument the Dems can use, plus it's not like the tea Partiers would welcome Hispanics with arms wide open and grant them immigration reform. The climate I am going to keep on asserting is opposed to immigration reform and this bill I am pretty certain will fail or not pass in it's current incarnation(as we assume it to be).

I don't care what excuses the Dems present to vote nay. If some of them vote nay against a reasonable and fair bill, they are scumbags. It will clearly look inconsiderate and political. Let's assume that what Rubio has revealed so far is in the bill, all of those potential justifications for voting no on the bill would be a bunch of bs, that I can tell you, all of us would be able to identify. Nothing against you immigration youth. Sorry if you are a big fan of the Dems. I am a leftist, but I am going to be pissed if the Dems. vote no an alternative bill that would provide us with relief in a fair manner.

I am not a big fan of the Dems or the repubs, just saying what is likely to happen. Quite frankly it doesn't matter if you think they're inconsiderate, they don't care, it's not as if we could vote. Just like the repubs they have values to defend and a demographic they need to pander too and that they can't risk losing, it's not as if most latinos are so closely attached to the immigration issue they are keeping daily tabs on this bill and quite frankly many would agree with the democratic view regardless. The dems don't care if it's not fair or rational, it's not the FAIR act, life isn't fair. Quite frankly, right now it's all just one DREAM, and the Dems and Repubs both know this.......... and the game and DREAM continues. But we will just wait and see, time will prove one of us right.
