Well whatever the outcome..I know the est.11 million getting amnesty or some form of citizenship will be the deal breaker,they are already saying that the paying back taxes language is to please the republicans, the govt.already knows that it is an impossible task to accomplish..immigrant advocacy groups all already crying foul about the est time for a GC..let's face it their is so much for the republicans to sink this bill,that LGBT rights is just one excuse of many for them to sink this bill..and don't believe all the house Democrats are on board with legalization of the undocumented..We are discussing a very sensitive subject ...believe u me the hate that will be spit later about undocumented immigrants,nobody will even care about thus issue..Just wait and see...

Wow, the amount of hypocrisy coming from some of you is really unbelievable. This whole "I'm not a homophobe, BUT throw them under the fucking bus" shit is getting old, how is it that our needs as undocumented people matter more than the needs of LGBT persons? Hell, one could argue that technically, their needs as CITIZENS trump ours. We all have a stake in it and as long as we continue to squabble, nothing is going to get done. Like Chocolatedrop said, there's a million other reasons why CIR might not pass/ ever be fully implemented. Scapegoating (wow, some of you guys are already getting passing marks on your unofficial assimilation into American society exam) the gays is a rather pointless waste of time. And for the record I have a stake in this either way.

LGBT community . . . I am sorry. But, this is an issue of fucking survival/sustenance/putting food on the table/ paying for the fucking bills/etc. . . Gay rights and immigration need to be handled separately.
