Hey on election day when I dipped from work I was absolutely amped thinking Hillary will win and already celebrating. I started bugging out when Trump was beating the shit out of her in Florida and Ohio, completely shocked. But turns out Trump was, and yes I am already claiming it an AMAZING choice for hopes of broader immigration reform. Dreamers will be top of the chain, first in line to obtain POSSIBLE legal status very soon. Republicans do a fine job sticking together unlike the asshole blue dog democrats who killed Dream Act in 2010. Trump is an equalizer. He will force these politicians to work together. He won't be getting along that well with Republicans, there's a massive rebellion brewing in fact between them.

Trump doesn't need a deportation force. If you are detained even for small violations chances are Sessions will order all agencies to seek immediate removal if they are here illegally. Best to stay out of trouble while Trump is president. Don't drink and drive, don't jailwalk, don't have domestic disputes. simply stay in a bubble for the next 4 years. Better to be safe than sorry.

you know how backed up immigration courts are? they are like processing 500k+ people for removals. And if they add another 750k DACA ppl, do u know how long that would take? it would take years and we will be waiting here to get a hearing and they have to provide you you're DACA work permit while you wait.

Bernie Sanders or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will probably be President by the time we get a hearing.

Always remember your 5th amendment rights, this is America where you have due process. nobody aint gonna force you on a plane and ship you off where you came from without you having your day in court.

Sounds like the same exact thing under Obama to me. Even right now we shouldn't be doing any of those things! Anyone DACA recipient who drinks and drives should be kicked the eff out of this country without due process.

You what? Like I'm supposed to forget McCain left us out to dry when dream act came up? I'm pretty sure Graham's been a hater too, just conveniently not lately cuz they all a bunch of hypocrite opportunists.

bro... its politics, they voted against it in 2010 because they didnt trust Obama to enforce the immigration laws. Of course both sides want to take credit for passing CIR or Dream Act. And now they think they have a president-elect trump that would actually enforce the laws, so they are more inclined to pass hawkish border security laws while the democrats use us as leverage to fund their wall at the same time get LPR. I worked for the US House of Representatives man, its just how politics works.

Why do u think democrats want it so bad for us to get citizenship? thats 11 million votes in their pockets. its just how it is mayne... we will just have to wait and see. Both democrats and republicans are hypocrites tbh. Legal Permanent Residency is in the Horizon, my friends.
