You have to get inside the minds of these Republicans:

Cross over, pop out a few kids, get rewarded with a work permit and status. Simple.

That's the way Republicans see it, and that's a slap in the face to them. And in a way, that's the way a lot of undocumented immigrants see it too: nothing more than an opportunity that they should take advantage of. And why shouldn't they?

We can argue that some undocumented parents of U.S. born children had kids here NOT with the intention to someday use their children as leverage to secure status, sure. But we can also argue that some undocumented parents of U.S. born children had kids here WITH the intention to someday use their children as leverage to secure their status.

And it's the latter who fucked it up for everyone else.

This is absolutely true. Also, some (CERTAINLY NOT ALL) Republicans want to end DACA due to its constitutionality BUT are actually favor legislative action to fix this issue but then again Congress couldn't even pass the DREAM act multiple times.

Don't get the point of passing around blame at this point. What's been done is done and we only have the immediate future to look to. As if politicians beating on the immigrant wasn't enough, now it's immigrant beating up on the immigrant himself.

We need to be proactive and think of ways we could do to help our own cause because no one else will.

Based on comments from legislators the majority of both democrats and republicans want to keep DACA. Now, that does not mean they will vote for amnesty for us if it damages them politically.

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. I was responding to a comment about the whole DAPA thing and why it stalled.

It stalled because that's how Republicans saw it, as a slap in the face.
