Was about to go to sleep, have to go to work early tomorrow. Now I don't know how I will get through the night.

The ball will be in Congress' court. We have to put pressure on them. Call your reps, tell your family and friends to call them. Try to convince GOP to support your cause and implore the Dems to compromise. We lost battle, but let's put our stories out there. This is my last battle because I'm not going back to the shadow, but I'll be working hard for the next year. If nothing gets done and I cant fix my status some other way, I'm out.

Also, fuck Paxton. I hope he rots in prison.

Trump is taking advantage of the disaster going on in Houston. He knows this won’t get much media attention when the focus is somewhere else. He’s disgusting.

No matter what happens tomorrow, just hug your love ones, they'll be your best support. Stay strong, at one point we we're strong without DACA and we will continue to be strong. This isn't over though, I have a feeling no matter what, things will work out for the best.

Bro sleep. You can't know or change what will happen. And remember, they said Trump was thinking of grandfathering us.

It's not deportation I'm afraid of. I've said before that I will leave the US if DACA ends, and no permanent solution is reached in Congress soon after. I'm not going back to the shadows. I have an education, skills, professional experience and a career I want to continue. Losing that is what scares me.

I am sorry but I cannot wait for Congress. That would take forever if it gets anywhere. I place more faith in Trump grandfathering us.

No matter what happens, we are the children of immigrants and this compares nothing to the kind of experiences and awful things we went thru growing up as an undocumented. Stay resilient, friends!

Everything has two sides and when old paths close, there will always be new ones that open. We just need to stay together and FIGHT FOR OUR DREAMS, for the sake of ourselves, loved ones, and to show the lowlife bastard naysayers that we can prevail.
