Then you have an odd mentality compared to most on this issue. Like I said, good luck to you.

I think what some people fail to realize in here that this is just an emergency stop gap, it doesn't mean it's the end of any future solution. And that's what the BRIDGE act is for. It's buying us more time,

But not all are in the workforce. If your primary occupation is full-time student vs someone who is a FTE with immediate financial and family obligations, then you do have three years to wait for Bridge-shit.

This is serious. I am a leader w my SEIU chapter and I find this unacceptable. I am about to start serious networking against this.

There's the thing. He's going to bring the bill to the floor, and there's no stopping it. Bc that, it's important to support it to show that others bills like DA or RACA can pass. If this bill fails, a bill that does nothing but extend debate time, then we are in trouble.

Do you agree this should not be the compromise bill?

Who here thinks this should be the compromise bill? I think we need to distinguish here.

So we can all come to the conclusion that best case scenario, we get the Dream act once and for all. Worst case scenario, we get the BRIDGE Act. To be honest things are looking up and are much better than they did one week ago. And for some of you that might have their application pending, do not fret yet, USCIS application centers have not received any memorandum saying to keep I821D on hold. Keep the faith.

Whether your in the workforce or not, dreamers will still up for deportation. Your starting to sound like UWD were their is no room for compromise. This is just a stopgap not a final solution.

My app is being reviewed so hopefully an order to halt them is not issued :/ And definitely. I feel more hopeful in some way than last week.

Beggars can't be choosers. If they can get this passed while they work on a solution then we should take it.
