There's nothing wrong with increased border security, cutting back on legal immigration through diversity visa lottery, we shouldn't be against that in exchange for DA.

This could be their way of saying, "it looks like the Dems are getting DA passed, might as well hop on the train and act like we helped"

Instead of having good old Harry "The Cuck" Reid bending over, Schumer puts a very steep price on any democratic votes.
Yup, this is spot on. Everyone should know that the Republican plan is to try and push it after the budget talks to have more leverage. They'll say, "we really want this to pass, we have a bunch of time, Dems are jeopardizing government jobs, etc." If they succeed, they'll put out a plan, but along with it, funding a border wall, interior enforcement, massive deportation, just a shit ton of ridiculous stuff that Democrats can't agree to because they'll be throwing a bunch of their constituents under the bus for us. It won't pass, and the Republicans will say it was the Democrats who prevented us from gaining legal status. BOOM, checkmate for Republicans.

The best republican leadership can do is pass 2 week CRs. People will be over his strategy after a while. Motherfuckers better pass a real spending bill sooner or later.

They have to pass one anyways due to the debt ceiling, if it wasn't for that they'd just pass a CR and say fuck it. Right now the most they can do is check how much cash the treasury can put out to go full steam until default. I'd say that every week of operation will cost them about a month of shutdown fall back if budget doesn't pass. Right now the government can function under a shutdown until about March if it goes down on Friday, Dec 8th.

If they get their CR passed the most they can do is stall until very early January before the government defaults. Shutdown is just a first step where the government goes on a diet of cup noodles and looks over every dollar twice while still being in the green, default is basically the government going bankrupt and being unable to move any money, which will bring us a global economic collapse.

Guys, the far right is already taking steps to pressure the 34 Republicans from backing off from supporting a legislative solution for us. We need to call to outnumber the opposition!

Here are the 34 House Republicans led by @RepScottTaylor and @RepNewhouse demanding a no-strings DACA amnesty: http://bit.ly/2iVGnN8 Is your representative on there? If so, contact them through the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121.

it has the votes in both houses.

for the senate they passed the “gang of eight” comprehensive immigration reform bill in 2013 with 68-32 votes.

this one will have the same numbers. but idk why leadership wont put it on the floor for a vote.
