After meeting with Kelly, Durbin concedes DACA "not likely to be resolved" this week and adds: "I'm sorry that it's taken this long."

@SeungMinKim

Well that's it. They're being led by WH, stupid dumb ass.

I am sorry but they are that stupid... Do you recall what happened in 2010? Only 5 DEMOCRATIC senators out of 6 needed to vote for cloture! They could have voted no for the Dream Act later on in the process. We might not even get Bridge Act at this point.

Dear Dems

If you give up any leverage on the DA I will make sure my parents, family and friends vote Independent come 2018 elections. We will not be taken for granted any longer. Starting with you Feinstein. I can’t wait to see you lose your senate seat.

Why are most people not optimistic abt this passing in Jan? I mean isnt that what congress agrees to do? I mean they realize this issue needs to be addressed afterall

Prospects for a potential bipartisan breakthrough seem especially ripe in the House, where members of both parties are still working on a proposed compromise that could be unveiled soon. Pelosi was seen huddling on the House floor Tuesday afternoon with Reps. Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) and Will Hurd (R-Tex.), two members trying to craft a deal.

I have always maintained that we will get relief before March . Take it to the bank ! Personally, I think it’s a good sign Kelly is personally getting involved. First time he’s getting involved in legislation as chief of staff.
