Since when do commitments mean anything in Washington? The first thing you learn about politics as a kid is that politicians lie. Don’t trust McConnell. Ask Flake.

Just got an email at work from one of our federal partners. All support services are cancelled until gov shutdown ends. Shit is getting real.

Chain migration, diversity lottery and more lattitude to deport among items on wishlist. WH does not trust Dems on wall so it’s asking for multiple items.

Dems are willing to give in on Wall because they think it will never be built or be ineffective.

Wow. Trump was willing to accept JUST the wall a couple days ago, now, the Wall doesn't equal border security? Now they also want other items apart from Chain Migration and DV lottery? How the fuck are these negotiations going backwards? The White House is now wanting more items than they had initially said?

I hope this dispels any notion that the WH wants to have a good faith negotiation on this... they just keep adding things they want all the time.

Yea this is all Miller. Why hasn’t Trump gotten his wall yet? The Democrats caved on it already. Sooner than later Trump is gonna figure out who the real problem is.

Might be at our expense though.

Get those renewals in and get yourself another two years. Worst case scnerio, they use March 5 as the deadline and get something done by then.

It is worth the risk. It has become very clear that the GOP was never going to help us.
