I feel like everyone needs to relax, we will not be screwed right away. Renew your DACA rn and you'll be fine until at least 2020.

Now, CHIP is attached to the 3 week CR. No more excuses Dems don't care about sick kids and holding them hostage. Dems gave 3 weeks for DACA to be fixed, and there will be another vote for a CR or Budget, so it's not like they can wash their hands and be like we never said we would fix DACA.

Chip being out of the way clears the way for DACA to be priority number one. It's out there that Miller/Kelly are the ones distracting the president from signing an immigration bill, last time Trump felt like someone else is running his presidency he got pissed and fired them or started to ignore them, so that's also a plus for us.

This bills that hard-liners are introducing would not even get votes from their own republicans, I feel like we need to not worry about them too much for now. I think things are aligning for us and next 2-3 weeks will be very good to finally get a finale to our story. We have Dems, Republicans (some) and over 70% of Americans who want a fix for us.

Every time something doesn't go as planned, people need to chill. It's not good for you health and also not good for people who are looking up to you'll for advice on what's going on and what will happen.

Just remember, nobody thought the shutdown was going to happened and it did. Nobody thought Trump would be president and he is. Nobody ever thought the Dream Act to pass under Trump and look all the press we have right now. Try to look for the positive things in life. If nothing happens, we have until 2020 to figure it out.

my 2 cents.

Edit: seems like Paul Ryan might not seek re-election, so he MIGHT not care to bring it to the house for a vote.

Oh they could, but I feel like there's a lot of pressure right now on the topic. I see this as a 17-day pressure to see what Republicans do, they might not even move a finger, they might. All we can do is wait instead of bitchin every senator who voted Yes.

Fuck I was working all day. Can't believe they caved on the 1st real day of the shutdown. Weak shit...if they just held off for a week it would of been game over. Dems are a weak party.
