Where did you go hear they're increasing the price to $2750?

If 1 happens, everyone is happy except cotton and all the right-wing loonies
If 2 happens, depending on how extreme it is, most Dems and even legal immigrants are pissed off because now they can’t petition for their family members and only a small daca population qualifies. The Dems promise to fix the mess after they take over
If 3 happened, Trump doesn’t get his wall, the Dems and media rightly blame the Reps for the next 10 months and the Reps pay the consequences in November. After the Dems take the over house we have a new leverage and everything starts all over again in 2019.
I predict # 2. Dems go along out of desperation to help. They are cornered by progressives who will pressure them to stop using us as political leverage and the need to help us.

2 and 3 most likely option 1 has no chance atm.

You guys need to stop thinking its all about us. We're just the sad story they're BOTH using to get what they really want for the country's future. They're going to shut down most of migration to the United States. Its already happening. A year ago people thought it was madness to build a wall... Then they thought if we built it who will pay for it? ..Now we're practically begging them to build a wall, on our tax money(speaking as a USC) as long as we can help the poor dreamers. Its like here just take the wall and would you like a side of -cut a bunch of other immigration programs- with that?

We'll get something. But this aint about us. We're just the carrot they're dangling onfront of the American people.

Its gonna be a whole lot of new restrictions and a big ass wall, and we're probably getting option #2 a semi conservative bs bill that we'll either have to take it or leave it.

They can't deport us all it will cost too much money if they decide on option 3. Come to think of it #2 highest possibility. Repubs put up the shittiest bill that covers DACA only or the least amount of people possible. Requirements will be so crazy that people will just say fuck it and self deport.

I agree, 3 is most likely ( although I hope for 1)

for #1 to happen, at the end of the day, Paul Ryan, Trump and Mitch have to approve it, that's kind of a lot and honestly almost impossible since Paul and Mitch don't even want to bring it up for a vote.

#2, the Dems are not going to compromise on all the things Cotton and Kelly want, I mean they want to reduce overall legal immigration by 75% , build a wall, remove everyone illegal, etc etc for a 3 year renewable permit which has a lot of restrictions to qualify

There was a link posted a few days ago.

Under Goodlatte, the process might include an interview. Driving up the cost. Plus you have to pay a $1,000 fine border security (think it was if you travel internationally) to help pay for the wall. The article stated the cost would be up close to 560%.
