what does it mean will close legal loopholes???

I think it's people who get caught on the border and get a court date that they never show up to and disappear somewhere into the U.S. It was a talking point during the past week or so. I haven't heard anything addressing visa overstays.

This absolutely excludes any temporary visa status or protections such as Bridge act.

The wet feet dry feet policy. After 1 year they can get residency. Funny thing is that If they remove it the only people who will celebrate is the Cuban Americans
