Hopefully, the threat of deportation forces a compromise for our sakes.
yeah why would being a dreamer ( a term that is ambitious and no has no legal official protection) makes us any different than other illegal aliens? Once we lose DACA we are open season

And this statement proves Trump, Miller, etc are also holding us hostage for wall and drastic cuts to amount of immigrants allowed.

Trump is in power, Republicans are in power of the House, Senate, and Supreme Court.

Democrats and organizations like UWD can either recognize this and deal with reality or hurt all of us for the sake of holding on to ideology.

Well in terms of what? There are many differences between a dreamer and another illegal. Look up the requirements for qualifying for a Dream Act, that is the difference.

I do not understand your question nor your point.

There is a difference between clean DREAM Act and being against the provisions in this framework (we were all against taking away due process rights when it effected us through Goodlatte bill, but suddenly that's ok because we get citizenship and it only applies to all other undocumented people?). I understand there needs to be a compromise, but I don't think this offer is balanced enough. Of course, this is only my opinion on the matter.
