So basically it's these 4 scenarios then:

Scenario 1: Trump must open the government before Dems negotiate. He does so. Trump loses any leverage, Dems don't fund wall because we all know they won't. Trump does not offer anything to us.

Scenario 2: Dems negotiate. It's shutdown over illegals. Dems get blame. Trump gets all the leverage. Will not offer anything to us.

Scenario 3: Nat'l Emergency declared, the government opens. Dems go to court to stop it, the wall doesn't get built. Both sides lose any incentive to negotiate for us.

Scenario 4: ???????????? happens. We get green cards.

I think scenario 3 will happen because democrats will absolutely refuse to open. Not sure how the government would magically reopen. Dems would definitely go to court.

Let me put it this way, the wall will never get built, trump at 76 with bad eating habits will chow himself into a heart attack long before the wall gets built. If it even gets started at all.

Democrats are doing all the right steps so far, making trump desperate.
