How come you’re not a bit worked up over the gop delaying the reconciliation bill though? Like that’s our best chance in years and you’re mum. Wtf bro?
I see that, and they are assholes. Surprise? Senate Dem Leadership makes the decision here though.

Let's say the infrastructure bipartisan bill fails and is rolled into spending/reconciliation.

Do any of you really think there will by 50 votes for all of the following rolling into one big, fat enchilada?:
Spending + Infrastructure + Immigration

Even if it's just Spending + Immigration via reconciliation, it's pie in the sky. Republicans will be fuming and the the moderate D's will cause the collapse of that grand plan.

Also... Smoothie is closet republican. Let's face it.

i think there is because that was the original plan before manchin wanted to give a handjob to republicans and work on it at a bipartisan basis. If you think about it, the current bipartisan bill already explains how the bill will be paid for so is not too difficult to just roll that into the reconciliation. The hard part, paying for it, is already figured out.

Manchin never meant a word on "bipartisanship". Dude's just stalling for time. He'll scuttle the reconciliation bill.

Joey from downtown needs to pull out the carrot in the bill and bribe Mittens and Murkowsky from downtown.

lol these clowns

I ironically think it's easier to get Collins and Murkowski to vote for reconciliation than Manchin and Sinema.

at least 49 D voted for this and Schumer voted No, so he can reschedule vote on when they reach agreement on bipartisan bill. Seems to me D want to get this bipartisan bill more then they want reconciliation.

did Schumer voted 'NO' purposely so they get to reconciliation ?

What a fantastic strategy if he did and it passes!! He knows from experience there's no bipartisanship in today's congress! So no need to waste time and efforts with Republicans, they're just gonna obstruct everything coming from Democrats and play games. Way to go!
