What I did:
Senate (Democrat): Not sure if they even did anything I was unable to reach them yesterday
Congressman (Republican): I called yesterday and they said they made a inquire and needed to follow up.
I reached out to CLINIC: Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC). They added me to the list of expiring and sent it over. I wrote them about my experience also.

ILRC and NILC: They flagged my case

Infopass: I have one booked for tomorrow and will be canceling.

SR: I made two service requests one on aug 29th and one on monday.

Ombudsman: I did file one of these but I never heard back from them other than the generic reply about 60 days for response.

I'm not sure what did it but coming on the forum and contacting these organization helped me relieve stress about it. Also working long hours at work helped me alleviate stress. I think I got two months worth of work done in these past two weeks.

Here is what the case history shows for that response:

Last time I submitted an e-request was for my missing bio appointment, which I received a notice the next day saying that my appointment had been scheduled and notice had been sent.

On August 24, 2016, your Other - Tier 1, referral number T1B2361600733OVP, was assigned to an officer for response.

Am I reading into this too much or is there a glimmer of hope here?

This is exactly what I got in my 9/10 SR reply letter from them.
