What I did:
Senate (Democrat): Not sure if they even did anything I was unable to reach them yesterday
Congressman (Republican): I called yesterday and they said they made a inquire and needed to follow up.
I reached out to CLINIC: Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC). They added me to the list of expiring and sent it over. I wrote them about my experience also.

ILRC and NILC: They flagged my case

Infopass: I have one booked for tomorrow and will be canceling.

SR: I made two service requests one on aug 29th and one on monday.

Ombudsman: I did file one of these but I never heard back from them other than the generic reply about 60 days for response.

I'm not sure what did it but coming on the forum and contacting these organization helped me relieve stress about it. Also working long hours at work helped me alleviate stress. I think I got two months worth of work done in these past two weeks.
Congrats! I expire the 25th so hopefully soon. The service request you submitted was an out of processing time one?

Does anyone have an idea of what this means? "On September 21, 2016, your general inquiry, referral number OVP2581600215NSC, was assigned to an officer for response." I submitted an e-request through USCIS website under my 821-D application last week and am waiting for a response re: delay beyond 6-month processing. I am really hoping this means an officer has my case for review.

I also sent one under 1-765 and got the following response and case history, which appears to be different.

"The status of this service request is:

We have received your inquiry stating that your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Form I-821D) is beyond the expected six month processing period. U.S. and Immigration Services (USCIS) is making every effort to process these cases within the stated time frame and hope to adjudicate your case in the near future. However, at this time we cannot provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your request for deferred action.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience."

Here is what the case history shows for that response:

On September 14, 2016, we sent a response to your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR12571600940NSC.
09/14/2016

On September 14, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR12571600940NSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

Last time I submitted an e-request was for my missing bio appointment, which I received a notice the next day saying that my appointment had been scheduled and notice had been sent.

On August 24, 2016, your Other - Tier 1, referral number T1B2361600733OVP, was assigned to an officer for response.

Am I reading into this too much or is there a glimmer of hope here?

Yeah, the 8/29 service request was out of processing time. They sent me a letter on 9/10 that they were monitoring expiration dates and will make a decision soon but cannot specify a particular date.

I was approved for both EAD and DACA on MyAccount or ELIS but when I check Case Status the only one that is update is the DACA one. The EAD one still says "Biometrics scheduled etc."

Assuming thats normal too ?

This is exactly what I got in my 9/10 SR reply letter from them.

Thanks man, hopefully that's a good sign--if so, it sounds like I am a couple days behind you in terms of processing.
