I called tier 2 support and it was the first person that actually admitted the cases are taking about 6 months. Not like how the website says 120 days.
SRafaela was a renewal. I don't remember her mentioning anything about A.P. I applied a few months after mine expired because I was too busy and well money was tight because I was dealing with a divorce. My previous DACA expired in September 16 and I sent my renewal on February 15 and USCIS started processing on the 18 of that month. I haven't traveled abroad, I have never had any encounters with the law. I still think that 7 months is more than enough time to review all information I sent and for them to run a background check on me.

I think what's happening is that there's different groups or bundles of applications. Some groups are already in mid may but others like mine still haven't gotten through March.

When I called a few weeks ago they told me that people that applied later may be getting approved sooner because they were probably in a different bundle of applications. My brother and sister applied with me on the same day and they got approved two months ago. Can't believe it!

It doesn't make sense in my case. There was another user in here with the same timeline as me and she got approved a week ago.

I couldn't believe that there are people that only waited 1 week or 1 month to have their DACA and EAD approved and then they have the nerve to complain that they lost time on their new permit because it was issued before their previous one expired. Can't believe their nerve to complain about petty stuff like that.

I want to say that is what it looks like and to put on top that "technical error" that happened between Feb.14 and May.14 does not help.

I hear you, I would just be super happy I got approved but hey people are different

Update: Were there any approvals today? I think I only saw 1?

People feel entitled. They should since they spent good money on that. But it is ridiculous they complain when their wait isn't as long.

I share those sentiments. I see people that applied waaay after me and mine is stuck in "initial review". Not ONE single agent has been helpful to me Tier 1 or Tier 2. All just rude and tell me to wait 180 days. Even the one that allegedly expedited my case...He sorta chuckled when i told him that i needed my job to support my family and I will face hardship.

I called USCIS regarding my RAD. It was approved last Wednesday. I was hoping they would have at least produced it by now. Apparently it isn't out of the ordinary to wait up to 30 days. My job wants that EAD soon.

Sorry to hear that, don't give up. When do you expire?

Just trying to make sense of all of this but I guess we'll never find out how they operate. I keep refreshing the case status page but does it even update in real time??
