Do you mind sharing your experience? What you took or what they asked?

Would appreciate it!

Sure! got to my appointment a little early, got called in 10 minutes after my scheduled time. We were both asked to raise our right hand and say that everything we were going to say was true. He went over our applications making sure all the info were correct, also asked me some of those questions about crimes, arrests etc. Then he asked me were we met, asked my husband when we started dating and when did he propose. Then asked for stuff with both of our name on it and quickly looked through it( we have been together for a long time and married for over 6 years). Then he said he approved me for the 10 years green card and that after 3 years I can apply for citizenship. I knew we wouldn't have any problems with the interview...Anyways I am so so so happy! And I hope you guys get to experience this feeling very soon!

Alright guys please listen carefully my fellow dreamers. Thanks to this forum and this website I have been able to gather all the info needed to become a legal resident of this beautiful country. Yes I am a former dreamer, daca recipient, and have been granted permanent residence for 10 years starting 12/13/16. I will become a citizen in 3 yrs. Here's how I did it. I am Daca, came in at 6 months old without inspection through the border. Have lived here all my life. Married to a USC for 8 years, have a daughter also USC. You all know that catch 22 where we can't legalize unless we leave the country, we need a waiver blah blah. Well I applied for advance parole for humanitarian reasons due to having a sick father in Mexico. Please note advance parole is eligible for daca but usually it's hard to get unless its for humanitarian reasons. So approved in feb 2016 I left for 1 week saw my dad and came back without any problems via MIA. Was asked my reason for travel and AP and let back in with the magical I94. Having that I was able to apply for I130 and I485 Adjustment of status. Applied in march 2016. Got my interview notice for 12/13/16 (on my wedding anniversary by the way; someone's romantic joke) got approved on the spot. No questions asked due to the length of time I've been married. Granted permanent residence for 10 yrs eligible for citizenship in 3 years. And that's that. Guys I know how scary it is to leave the country I know how the AP is not garantee of being admitted back but you have to risk it before trump is sworn in. If you have a legitimate reason to get AP do it and don't think twice. This will cure your illegal entry. In my interview the officer cited the unlawful presence law and asked if I probably set it off when I left. However I retaliated with the arrabelly and yerabelly case that set precedence for 2 things. #1 advance parole qualifies as a legal entry to the country no matter how you came in originally. #2 advance parole does not put you into unlawful presence. Guys I did all of this without a lawyer and just googling anything I could as laws were changing. President Obama created a loophole for us so do it now while he's still there. If you can afford a lawyer great if not just do your due diligence and research the Matter of Arrabally and Yerrabelly, 25 I&N Dec.771 (BIA 2012). I will answer all your questions if I can and I will upload proof once I get to a computer. Keep hope up!
