People on this forum seem so eager for a "deal" to be reached with the RAISE Act. The problem with that is that there are other groups of undocumented people out there. What if they made an agreement to provide relief for agricultural workers(70% of whom are undocumented) and sympathetic visa overstays, like grandmother's and such. And only them. Would most on this forum support such a compromise?

It was presidential polling. Sure we can surmise what their political ideology is from their choice of candidate, but I think that's flawed. The methodology is not good enough to label all generation z as more conservative simply based on candidate choice. Mind you, 14 year olds are not mature and will vote for trump as a joke. I don't know why you'd choice to cite this and what point you are trying to make. Conservativism has been exposed with trump as nothing more than racism, sexism, and homophobia.

If anything, being anti-Trump is more of a mainstream thing and it's the "cool thing" with rappers like YG making songs like Fuck Donald Trump and many celebrities expressing their hatred towards Trump.

The poll that I mentioned from the aritlce was about first time voters meaning they were old enough to vote. They were not 14 years old and most of them voted for Trump compared to Clinton. This might have changed though if Bernie was the canddiate since most of the people of my age preferred him over Clinton & Trump.

I'm a part of Generation Z and while many of my generation might have be socially liberal. 84% of us are entirely fiscally conservative thanks to the recession that occurred in the late 2000s and more alerted about money according to the book, Generation Z Goes to College by Corey Seemiller and Meghan Grace.

There's no way the next generation could be socially conservative. I can see that generation being like the libertarians.

Also, college education tends to make people more liberal. Which many first time voters just turning 18 are not. Secondly, Clinton took the brunt of the fake news phenomena on Facebook. People believed outright lies about her.

Fuck legal immigrants. They always thought they were better than us. I know during the campaign they were huge on deport all of us.
