Same could be said about DACA. We have no legal right to stay unless Congress proposes legislation that grants us the right. Similar argument can be made for DV. Currently it exists, there is no reason for Dem's to trade it away because they gain no additional leverage by doing so. It's not like trading DV gives you DA now, they still have to grandstand on the Omnibus to get enough support.

If you commit a crime on DV you are no longer entitled to it. Doesn't explain why you would end the program for everyone else. What you are suggesting is ending DACA because someone with DACA did something bad.

End of story.

You are type that would deport their parents for a green card. No one should take your opinions seriously. You lack empathy.

If you cannot tell the difference between DACA and DV recipients, I can't help ya!

To each their own. Looks like DV is getting traded in for DACA and I support it! I would have supported it even if I was not a DACA recipient. DV never made sense to me.

You keep trying to equate daca and dv.

They cant be equated.

DV lets in Islamic terrorists.

We DACAs love US. We are American only except on paper.

This is wrong and congress is about to fix this wrong.

I am going to repeat again. Do you want your DA passed or not? Literally this is in front of Trump and he is about to sign it. Yes or no.

Forget empathy, the argument to go after a different immigrant group is just bad politics and policy. It's giving away leverage and getting nothing in return. The whole border security for DA is a win win, it doesn't sacrifice any current legal means of immigration and grants relief to a subset of undocumented in the US. Throwing DV into the mix has 0 value.

Yes. As long as it doesn't harm the parents of Dreamers or screws up another population of undocos.

100% of DV applicants are adult foreigners with little or no english, nor education.

100% of DACAs are HS grad with clean record, who grew up here and call America home.

There is no DACA terrorist.

It is not about doing something bad.

It is about committing Terrorism.
