They also have an incredible amount of lobbying power in Congress. They have gotten incredibly unpopular pieces of legislation through Congress and if they desired to, they could push a DACA fix through today. Hell, they probably own Donald Trump. If they are not willing to fight for me, I will feel absolutely no remorse about screwing them over.

Also if you are seriously comparing yourself to the investors that own these institutions, then why are you even here? You have enough disposable income to hire someone to marry you or enough money to qualify for an investor visa. These investors are loaded and I am nothing compared to them financially .

I've read the final tax plan. It's not bad actually. It maintains some of the State and Local Tax and Mortgage interest deductions. It also increases the child tax credit.

As much as I hate tax reform, I will be kinda happy if it passes (which it probably will) because it will probably reduce the pressure on Republicans to appease their base with a fight against DACA.

Let me tell you something. I am not calling you a fraudster or anything. But when it comes to fraud, a true fraudster commits the fraud based on one of or a combination of 3 things: rationalization, opportunity, and pressure. What you just said is an example of rationalization. The Banks may not have dignity in your eyes but they are publicly owned. There's many stakeholders here that could get hurt by actions like this. It's not the right thing to do.

Refunds? I pay close to $20K in taxes. I am a single, high earner, and have investment income. I used to do taxes back in College so don't try and lecture me about refunds.

Once I leave I wont be back for 10 years so it wont matter. 800 credit score means nothing back home. Don't worry - I know what I am doing

Again, I would LOVE to stay in this country but if the country doesn't want us, I'll get my piece of cash paid to the government one way or another.

Nobody is lecturing you. You can do your own thinking. I'm just making sure nobody here gets any ideas of "taking out loans and leaving the country" because "they didn't give us Green Cards." That's the stupidest thing I've heard in my life. You really think Citibank and Bank of America like banks are based only in America? One would ruin their lives if they made a stupid move like that. Just dropping my 2 cents to make sure others don't start thinking like you do.

I like the tax bill too. Will save me money. I hope they have stricter restrictions (more verification) over child tax credit, way too many people abusing it. Its not only the undocumented but also low income people who don't pay taxes can get big ass refund checks!

That shit is temporary, it expires, while the tax cut for the rich don't. It increases the child tax credit by what? 300? What a nice bone their tossing us while they get millions in deductions.
