I think this is exactly what Trump wanted.

The problem with this garbage deal is that it gives almost nothing, 3 year renewable you'd say is better than nothing, but you still have no rights, you can't even leave the country if you don't have a like a family member ill, we suffered enough. I am already used this life style, I am sure many of us are, and frankly tired, we need to some dignity, some peace. I feel much of my life has been stolen, not enjoyed, not fulfilled, my best years are probably already gone, this shit sucks.

Obviously people from shithole countries would want to move to a better country. So I dunno why idiots like Trump think Norwegians or anyone from a Nordic country would want to move to the US when their standard of living is way better than that of the US. Yeah, most of us have immigrated from shithole countries and that’s not always our fault. Thanks to imperialism and wars started by Western countries, refugees and immigrants have flocked to Westenr countries. So why blame us for relocating from those shithole countries. My family and I would have stayed in our home country had it not been for Russians (Soviet Union) invading us and turning our country into the shithole and war torn country it is now. So I dunno why thE racist white people are complaining. They should loOk to history and see why this has happened as a result of their actions in nonwhite countries.

That’s not the point though. He was obviously being ignorant for assuming that some South American countries and all African countries are shit holes. And then he goes on to mention Norway as the country he would like to see more people come to the US from. He was making the assumption that just because it’s a predominately white country then that means that everyone from that country would be an asset to the US when that is obviously not the case. All countries have bad apples and regardless, the visa lottery program is not a handout, just like DACA wasn’t one. People go through processes and are monitors to ensure they’re good people.

Most nations, and the US had ridiculously lax immigration laws specifically to gain european immigrants, primarily craftsmen.

Mexico, a shithole, and my homeland, also had the same policy of forbidding africans from immigrating, forbidding chinamen, and only wanting europeans.

You will find similar policies all through latin america. It was shameful and trump should've clarified that he wanted skilled labor, instead of pointing out races.

Some countries have more bad apples than others, my homeland, is currently plagued by massive corruption and crime. Many latin american nations face the same problems, but you rarely if ever hear about it from nordic nations.

The point isnt asking if they have it, but rather the rate it happens in a nation.

I dont think we should have a visa lottery, because it doesnt provide the US any benefit. If you remember, the NYC truck terrorist brought in 23 of his family, and was a lottery visa holder. Tell that to the dead civilians that you dont want to halt the lottery.

Instead all the visa lottery slots should be allocated for current DACA recipents.

I hope some of you that don't believe the hatred coming from some of his supporters take a look at those FOx News comment sections on IG, Youtube, Facebook. Laura Ingred from Fox News basically compared DACA Recipients to MS13.
