Preventing visa overstayers from adjusting would be ending a loophole. Even preventing people with visas to adjust while on the USA would be another "loop hole to end"

I don't see that as a legal loophole. I have heard visa overstays brought up before. That's a legal loophole. Get a visa, come over and never leave. A wall will do no good if people are flying over it.

Barring EWI from ever adjusting is another "loophole" they could end.

I mean there is already a permanent ban, 10 year and 3 year ban.

Most visa overstayers are from white countries so they don’t care lol. They just don’t want more brown people.

Trump and GOP have embraced the racist right, most white people want to remain in the majority anyways as well.
Expect the parties to divide further between no immigration and open borders. Both positions reliant on electoral success.
We might not see something permanent until democrats win back power. Until then I think the best we can hope for is a temp protection.

Is anyone ignoring the fact that not everyone is going to qualify for the Goodlatte bill? How many Dreamers in here are 125% above over the poverty line?

I honestly have no issue with the Goodlatte bill as long as it doesn't strip of us anything. I don't have mind having renewable 3 year DACA. I just need some time til I get married to an USC. That's all.
