I’m on board with taking care of illegals that were here first.

Try to argue against that. I dare you.
Okay. No. A lot of us support family reunification because we have US citizen siblings and want our parents legalized.
There is no other reason for family reunification as the main way for others to immigrate. It was started in the most racist circumstances and only exists because it was envisioned to help white Americans (especially white American men).

H1Bs see themselves as legal immigrants and look down upon us as theives, scum, and evil.

Never trust any H1B.

Its a myth that indians or foreigners are driving tech.

http://newobserveronline.com/95-of-i...eport-reveals/

95% of them are incapable, but because they can at least do *something* and they are cheaper than natives, they get hired.

Oh and the most lucrative business in india is scamming.

I think the problem with American citizens not applying/getting these positions is that they do not want to be techies. They want a return on investment of their higher (mostly public) education and want careers in fields that not only benefit a shareholder's bottom line.

H1b visas are not available for the exclusive benefit of Amazon, Google, and MSFT. The fact that these companies and the recruiting Indian firms like Infosys monopolize them is what I hear people complain about.

So from your logic here people in India are foreigners of India...? All that article proves is that the USA takes out the absolute bests of these countries.

Not sure what to say but I work with H1b people. Some are mediocre but they put in the time on the weekends and I highly doubt an American born citizen would do what they do to keep a job. While, some are brilliant and I think they deserve the visa.

It turns out your reading comprehension needs some work. I dont know how you managed to twist it into people india are foreigners of india, but you did. Truly spectacular work. Your best work yet.

Anyhow, the article shows that the indians the US hires are mostly incompetent at the field. Only 2% can write logically correct code. You seriously dont think they are only skimming off these top 2, do you? That would be naive, even for you.

Clearly they are grabbing A3, A4, AND A2

These are the same people working at google and microsoft, including making the windows 10 you so adore

They are great for gas station employees, and their business skills are often quite good. When you have to compete against 1 Billion other indians, you have to be quite good at scamming and tech support.
