really focus should be how we can get amendments added to compromise bill for more of us getting relief and removing conditions like final deportation order etc. everything else is just talking about nonsense. no clean dream act will pass, no democrat super majority is coming even in next 10 years. even if they get one they will not let dreamers occupies the whole stage.
Lol, might as well "focus" on getting the age restriction removed. Let me guess, you have a final deportation order. That's why that is what u want to "focus" on.

NEW w/ @seungminkim: Showing Trump upended careful plans with his comments this morning, WH drafted & circulated Statement of Administration Policy last night indicating he would sign the GOP immigration bill.

That's why Goodlatte, et al were convinced he would walk his comments back. They had reassurance from the WH last night that he would sign this.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they pass this shit next week and McTurtle schedules a vote in the Senate. It's like the tax bill all over again.

I don’t think it’s going to pass as is and I remember Ryan saying something about getting this bill passed without amendments... so this might be DOA.

I told in earlier posts we should try to get as much relief as possible for all of us including aged out. I have no final deportation order. my point is that instead of shooting down this bill lets work on getting amendments to remove unnecessary conditions and increase the size of dreamers population that could be covered in this bill including aged out dreamers.

It’d be really tough to clear senate anyway

we need to call our lawmakers to support the bill and add the amendments for more dreamers to be qualified under this bill.
also if republicans add it to the budget deal it will be passed easily.

There are 10 Democratic Senators that are running for re-election this year, all in states Trump won singlehandedly. If anything passes in the House and Trump calls on Republicans Senators to stick together and do “the right thing” then I’m sure the votes will be there. Let’s not forget that our biggest hurdle was always going to be Trump and the House, and so far we have both.
