We all know (Nancy included) that passing a clean dream act in the house is pointless. Something more helpful would be providing relief in the appropriations bill like Aguilar’s amendment that passed and prevents DHS from using funds to remove people with DACA status.

We expect something much stronger coming out of committee given that dems control the process.

Why are we so hung up on the House? We are glad they plan to address DACA in the house, but DA is not going to fly in the Senate controlled by Republicans. Most importantly, the only leverage Democrats have is the spending bill and yet the chance of attaching any fixes is nearly zero. So what do you say? Who is smarter?

So you understand completely the Democrats are completely locked in and can’t do anything since the senate is controlled by the terrorists Republicans and won’t pass even their most conservative immigration bill but you will still blame the democrats?

To be fair that bill wasnt meant to pass just like the 2010 DA.
