If Trump is starting out with the BRIDGE Act, then the Dems can squeeze more out of it. More protections and whatnot.

I agree. It’s a start only. I don’t get why people say if Democrats counter offer, the shutdown will be blamed on illegals. Uhhhh no. Trump is the president. Trump did all this shutdown, and it’s Trump feeling the heat right now. The mainstream media is holding Trumps balls near the flame and won’t let go.

You seem to have not learned how to negotiate with Trump. Basically negotiate in good faith is not an option, because if you did, he will be right stab at you in the back. (If Dems ask for Dream/USA Act, Trump will flip it and blame Dem for the shutdown on illegals).

It's better to stand firm, and let Trump offer more and more, squeeze every bit out of him, because if he wants his wall, he needs to give in more until he feels he needs to declare national emergency instead.
