Trump has no choice but to take the deal. He's going to end up trying to take money from other agencies to build his wall.

The agreement reached tonight would include:

-$1.375b for border barriers (55 new miles of bollard fencing)
-Dems drop call for new cap on ICE beds for detentions in interior
-Overall cap on detention beds drops from 49,057 to 40,520

Per congressional official.

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) stated that he assumes the president will accept the amount of wall funding in the deal struck by the conference committee, which will be short of $5.7 billion, and then move around money to make up the difference.

Graham said, “[W]e’ve allocated money to deal with drug corridors, but there’s also language in the appropriations bill where you can move around $4 billion inside the Department of Defense in the discretion of the secretary and the president. So, there’s well over $4 billion available to the president under current law, in addition to what the Congress will give him in this deal. So, I would assume they would take the money in the deal. It won’t be enough. It’ll be well short of 5.7, and do what we talked about to make up the difference between the appropriated amount and the 5.7.”

Democrats’ hatred of President @realDonaldTrump resulted in them missing a great opportunity to provide more border security and a better life for DACA/TPS recipients.

Sad and stupid.

The only person really left advocating for us I feel.

Democrats would not counter his offer... Because everyone on this forum was stating that the Democrats would get blamed for shutting down the government if they counter offered... Well, the government opened up but the Democrats would still did not counter offer him... WHY?! WHY!? WHY?! Because they want to make him a one term president just the way the Republicans wanted to make Obama a one term president back in 2010.!!! So yes, he is right about blaming the pathetic Democrats... Especially, your savior Dick Durbin who was in this very committee!
