As far as the court case, even though it's been in the courts for a while, there was never a ruling, since Hanen decided to see what SCOTUS does first. Assuming this still gets pushed forward now, even if theres a ruling in Texas, just like the last case, other states might step in to appeal and place an injunction on stopping DACA. Which again, will still go through the courts about the same way as the last case until it reaches SCOTUS.
Ah ok. I'm not too sure about the timing of these things as I'm not too familiar with the APA's guidelines and procedures.

I wish they'd just line us up and shoot us already.

If that's where you're at mentally, why don't you just go back to your home country?

Not everyone has the fortitude to handle this. I wasn't even stressing about the time leading up to the ruling. It only bothers me that I'm used to the tightrope we all walk. I won't judge someone for taking it worse. After all, they might have an exceedingly shitty life, where as mine is actually kinda nice.

Of course. This is not easy. And I meant my comment wholeheartedly. If this type of living is affecting someone so much, an escape from the situation would be a huge relief and a huge mental weight off. This is tough and is not for everyone.

Agreed

Trump can resubmit a new docs to recscind DACA but we’ll see something like what happened with the travel ban (https://www.aclu-wa.org/pages/timeline-muslim-ban)

(1) trump reiusses new executive order
(2) executive order gets blocked by our friends in Hawaii or San Francisco and a nation wide injunctuon prevents him from ending it
(3) trump appeals and the case lands in the court of appeals court. Our friends in the 9th circuit agree with the lower court and the injunction remains
(4) trump appeals to the Supreme Court
(5) the Supreme Court can accept or decline. That’ll be the wild card but it took 6 months last time for the travel ban to bubble up to the Supreme Court and that’s before COVID-19 slowing down the courts.
