It was both federal help and credit score, debts, assets, and some other things. Dunno if anyone was rejected for having a low credit score though.

I mean it you legit need money for something ( a car?) might as well do that but for the purpose of building just credit? Probably better off signing up for the promotional interest free cards and paying off fully each month
