I'm in Texas also and according to DPS you only need the document giving you deferred action.

"Person granted deferred action - Immigration documentation with an alien number or I-94 number"

but because DPS sometimes doesn't follow it's own rules, I would say it's better to have the card.

Great news today I finally got approved. Been waiting since May 12. I didn't get a text confirmation or email so that was weird. I just happen to check the status online and it said the card was being produced and that Deferred action was approved. For those recently approved how long did it take to receive your card from when you were appoved?

Done everything that everyone has pretty much done except infopass.
NILC flagged my case this week still waiting.
I am still working my employer gave me 60 days to provide EAD

19 days expired and counting. Many prayers and positive energy to everyone in the same situation.

Hopefully I get approved soon

Yeah I have the approval notice. I want to do a police report report so any crime done with it doesn't come back and hunt me but the last time I took it out was at home and I've check trash going out careful since I lost it. I am sure I'll find it if I spent all day looking for it. But it expires in 2018 so id have to wait 7 months at least for replacement that will be whar around June 2017 by stepmber of 2017 I'll have to submit my renewal again waiting again 7 months for it assuming trump chynos/2face lord and savior doesn't win and removes it. So not sure exactly what to do.

Well, no since I would have essentially have to do two renewal packages. I am really just wondering if we need our EAD card for renewing. Last time I used my State ID and passport

I was approved September 17.Got my EAD today.

Don't even know where to start...I got off the phone with a T2 rep. He told me that Nebraska is currently working on May 16 applications (different T2 told me same thing begin of the week) and that they are about 24 to 21 days behind and to call back next week about my case and they will expedite it. So with that being said I don't know who or what to believe anymore with this issue. One day they say they can't expedite the next day they can?!?! This whole week I called everyday about my case and service request and all of them told me I should hear back by this week...nothing.

He also processed to tell me that I'm not outside normal processing time. Well according to the website I am so I don't know what these people are smoking but they need to get it together
