Still waiting...

I have exactly 16 days before I expire and I'm getting very realistic about the fact that I'm going to expire and approval may come in who knows when. I've already told my manager and my supervisor and both are very sympathetic and assured me that I won't be losing my job. We haven't discussed the details of what will happen when I expire and how long I can take leave of absence. But the more I think about how unpredictable and uncontrollable this whole thing is, I feel like I really need to prepare for the worst. I just wish I had sent in my application few days earlier.

I propose we gather information as to who is losing their job and/or having to go into leave of absence because of DACA renewal delays. Not sure how we could do it. Thoughts?

I think this would be useful so we can get some media coverage or some congressman can use some data to help us out and put some pressure on USCIS.

Also, I have an acquaintance that's going to expire in March. With the way this is all going, do you guys think it'd be advisable to send her application early? Not sure if USCIS is recommending this yet or not...

Maybe we can record all the data on another google docs? Maybe another forum just for that topic and people could share their stories with their process, write their hardships and the tolls it took on them. Something along those lines?

5/15 ... sent application on 5/12, priority date 5/13, notice date 5/15, ELIS says 5/16. Still waiting. Dates are all over the place.
