Mines expires in about a week, and from the sounds of it I will wait longer to get approved? Geez this process just makes me want to travel back home and not deal with this bull every 2 years

No. That only applies to first time applicants. If a question does NOT apply to you, you may simply state "N/A". I had an RFE for my renewal back in 2014 because I completely left those blank. It really depends on the officer, but I just played it safe this time and it's still taking long.

Hello, has anyone in Texas tried to get their driver's license renewed with just the deferred action letter of approval? I'll be going to the DMV later today to ask about it. I just wanted to see if anyone had already tried it. Thanks!

For those of you who got their tracking number- did the 2nd tier provide it for you right away or did you have to file a service request?

I have a question, I called immigration today, and after talking to the customer service lady on the phone, she asked me "Why didn't you request an extension of your employment authorization"?
I told her that I didn't even know I could do that.
She then explained to me that being that I submitted my application within the 120 days period, I was legible for an extension.
So I am trying to schedule another appointment at immigration tomorrow again as request the extension.

Has anyone else heard about this before?

Please advise

Thanks!!

I have really no idea what this means. Anyone else on this forum have this situation and has been approved timely?

My only fear is that they are moving applications between service centers and this will cause further delays in processing. I expired 10/7.

I recently submitted my service request online and it was directed to the TSC. However, the response was received from the NSC. Meaning that my case is still being at the NSC. I'm not sure how they are handling the service requests.
