As far as the walk-in, you should try to walk in on the same weekday that your appointment is on at that location or if you're not successful, ask the attendants what days are slower. I hate that some of you live near field offices with a lot of traffic. At the one I did mine at, I've always been in and out in less than 10 mins. I've been going to that same office since 2003 and it's ALWAYS near empty.

To the people joining us recently, make sure you all check the first page on this thread for the spreadsheet and enter your info. We have enough info in there to answer a lot of the commonly asked questions.
Have you contacted NILC/IRLC about your case or done any other inquiries??

I tried to do a walk in yesterday morning, but was turned away because they were too busy. However, I talked to an officer and he told me that I could tell my employer to register for "E-verify" and to file form G-845 so that I can stay employed even if my permit expires.

Has anyone heard of this before? I tried researching but could not find anything.

Also, I'm thinking of trying a walk-in at another location. Has anyone done this successfully? The officer told me I cannot get my biometrics done at a different office.
I also expire on 10/17/16. I waited 135+days for my bios. I did a walk-in yesterday. Go around 2 PM bring you EAD and show them that it expires in couple of days, they should take you.

This was sent out to Stakeholders on Oct. 8. I hope this means that USCIS is finally taking initiatives to process our cases. (excuse the formatting, it was copied + pasted from a PDF.)

USCIS Message: Biometrics Appointment Notices for DACA Requestors
Dear
Stakeholder,
We are aware that some Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) requestors may have experienced
delays receiving their Application Support Center biometrics appointment notices. We recently mailed
biometrics appointment notices to thos

Most of these appointments will be scheduled during the week of October 24, 2016, and we encourage you
to appear at your appointment as scheduled. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please follow the
instructions on
your appointment notice to make new arrangements. Doing so will help the timely processing
of your DACA renewal request. We will only reschedule a biometrics appointment if you have a compelling
reason why you are unable to attend. For more information, pl
ease refer to our
guidance
on rescheduling
appointments due to reasons such as illness.
For further inform

Hi Everyone: Here is my timeline, I already updated the spreadsheet. This is my 2nd renewal.
Current EAD expiration: 11/11/2016.

Application received: 5/19/2016
Biometrics: 7/26/2016
Approval: 9/17/2016, received the DACA approval letter via mail on 9/22/2016.
EAD production: 9/20/2016
EAD produced: 10/3/2016.
ELIS: status was "Green card was produced and mailed to you.." (but obviously it was the EAD card).
October 6, 2016 -- I sent a secure message to USCIS asking for my tracking number, and today I received a response from USCIS, with the tracking number. I tracked the package and it was at my local post office since October 6, 2016, and it stated that it is ready to be picked up. I called and asked the rep at the post office that why was it not delivered even though it was priority mail. They did not have an answer. I just picked it up myself and I'm good for 2 more years. I still cannot believe post office did not deliver my card. My case tracker still says "Card Produced."

I did numerous service requests, calls, and congressional inquiry. This has been a roller coaster ride. To all my fellow dreamers, please remain vigilant, be persistent and stay positive. If I can answer any questions please let me know. Thank you.

May 11 here and it seems that I may have just gotten approved. The funny thing is that if I call the USCIS number it says it got approved on Oct. 3 (expired on Oct 2), but I've made multiple request since then and spoken to T1/T2 officers since and tonight I was writing my official letter of resignation did it finally show that it changed on ELIS.

USCIS is a crapshoot and I'm not entirely out of the woods yet, especially since it takes 20 days to get the card to you. Either way, will call HR in the morning and hopefully they can work with what I have until I receive the card.

I came home today and decided to check my status before emailing NILC about elevating my case....and to my surprise I was finally approved after 155 days! I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but I put in a service request a week ago, and had my case flagged by ILRC yesterday. I kind of waited a long time before I even contacted USCIS. I didn't contact them until i was at around 130+ days. If anything, I would suggest to those that haven't, to call USCIS and get in touch with ILRC and NILC. It's never too late and it will help to show them that there is an actual person behind that case number. Hoping and praying more approvals keep coming in for those still waiting.

Now the wait for the EAD so I can start looking for another job..
