What would you advise for someone who is thinking about making military a career, but is 29 years old and by the time first contract ends he will be past 33 age limit to become an officer?

The whole point of the ruling is that you don't have to wait until your first terms ends to apply. Soon as you're done with AIT, you should be able to get your interim clearance (unless the DOD flat out doesn't follow the court order, again)

Also it was my understanding the age cut off is for initial enlistment, not the commission date, but I could be wrong.

Question about SSbI process for yall. I am going through one right now. Just when I think it is over, more references are interviewed. Thus far, ALL of my references were interviewed for a total of about 10? Any idea as to why they keep wanting to interview my references? How was SSBI interview for yall?

SSBI was very long and drawn out. FBI does a really thorough job of interviewing all your references across all 50 states.

And if you are JUST starting the SSBI, good luck lol. It's gonna take forever

They do not have to interview all of them. Its up to the agents discretion. Some of the my ref werent interview and couple of other people outside of my ref were interviewed too.
