Thanks. Now to wait for the EAD card to arrive. I'm one of the unlucky ones that needs to have it on hand in order to start work again.

Has anyone been able to overcome this somehow? congressman? lawyer? any information that says otherwise?

I just want to say thank you to the advice I got about doing a walk in days before my scheduled biometrics. I did it yesterday and it worked perfectly. Took 15 minutes at most. Now I'm in the waiting game. Would love to get approved before the holidays!

By the way my office is always crowded all the time even when I was there at 8:00am. I was about to tell the lady if I could do the walk in. I just didn't say anything and gave her my appointment letter and she just had me fill out the form. My advice? Don't say you're walk-in unless they ask you. Just give them the letter and it will take care of itself.

Logged into ELIS for the first time today and saw no update. As soon as I closed the page I received this email:

"Dear Anonymous777:

USCIS has taken action on your application, petition or request and updated your account. Please access your account to view the update."

Logged back into ELIS and there's no update???

Yeah you definitely don't have to tell them you're doing a walk0in unless they ask you. That's what I did. I'm glad you were able to get your bio out of the way.

That's weird. Maybe try calling to speak to Tier 2 and get some sort of a confirmation?

Checked Case Status and it says on October 12th I was scheduled for biometrics for both statuses EAD and DACA??? I already completed biometrics September 4th...fml

Thank you! I finally got my appointment scheduled literally 120+ after submission. It's crazy how behind they are with my case. At least they have my fingerprints and photo and I can just wait for approval.
