Expired 10/13/16. HR didn't say anything so I just quietly kept working...

Steps to get some action on my case: Emailed Congressman who called USCIS, NILC, Service request after the 105 day mark. Just keep bugging them guys. The more times you push them to look at your case, eventually they're gonna do something about it.
Congrats! How are you going to talk to them when you get your new card?

I've been expired for 1.5 months... :/ But then again I submitted mine late. If you were between 150-120 days I think the odds are better than it won't be too long.
Hopefully there is a mass of approvals tomorrow. I've noticed Thursdays are when we get more approvals compared to other weekdays.

Approvals do seem to happen two or so days prior to the ELIS system updating and all the notifications going out.

That's what I've been noticing this week. A lot of people have been seeing approvals the day after. My employer is okay with the notice so I'm really hoping that I'll be approved soon and the notice goes up the next day.

How are you guys getting them to put in service requests for you over the phone? Finally managed to get through to a T2 today but he told me I have to wait 52(?!) more days because it's not out of processing time yet. The T1 wouldn't put one in either even though I reached 105 today according to them because it has to be after 105. Fucking great.

Even more depressing is that the T2 confirmed my application hasn't been assigned to an officer yet.

Thanks! I kept checking the whole day and there was nothing. And then at 4:33pm I got a text saying my case is now updated, my approval was as of 10/18 so there is definitely a delay in system updates.

I got ILRC to flag my case and my congresswoman involved and made multiple SR so definitely keep bugging them so they know that there are multiple sources breathing down their necks.

I had a SR put in on my 105th day. Try calling another T1 early in the morning before they get an influx of people.

My EAD has been expired since 9/18...this wait is horrible.
That's a bullshit message. I got the same email today and I was approved on the 16th

I feel lucky that my boss is going to accept a screenshot of the I-765 notification that says the card is being produced. I did tell him that it was approved I just do not have my new EAD on hand, to which he said was fine, as long as it is being made. Now to wait for the new EAD to be made, what is the average wait time as of now? I've read some say 10 days and others up to a month?

I, too, have called and submitted inquiries to no avail. I have an infopass appointment tomorrow. But based on the experiences of other members I'm not exactly hopeful.
My job offered to overlook my expired permit as long as my renewal is pending and not denied.
Has anyone continued working with their expired EAD?
You poor thing!! I know this comes a couple of months after your original post, but... On my first renewal... It expired on me. I work for a small company but we do have a proper HR department. THEY were ok with it, it's payroll that was breathing down their neck. They assured me they would tell payroll to f*@%$^&! wait. Exactly what they told payroll, I don't know, I just know that I was working for the longest month of my life without my EAD until I got my new one.
Best of luck!
