so basically this is a deferred action for people who are in the deportation proceeding. I am not sure how to react. because there is a good chance that Obama won't be reelected for the second term. And if he doesn't, there is also a good chance that these people in the system with temporary relief will be rounded up under a hardliner republican president and congress.

this whole ordeal doesnt make much sense to me unless it would be a start at some form of reform but that means a bill would have to become law and i just dont see anything passing this year but i hope to be wrong.

I don't see how people complain about this. We are better off today then we were yesterday. Our dream brothers in deportation proceedings can breathe a little better today. Quite possibly this could become a loophole to get temporary work permits that could be used to gain work experience IN YOUR RESPECTIVE FIELDS if everything else fails.

That's what I was thinking as well.. Its best not to get caught period, but if worse comes to worse at least you went get deported for a not committing crimes

Work permit includes an ssn or tax payer number which makes you eligible to study and get a drivers license...and if that's only two years long you can reapply. It's totally worth it.

And whom do you think will get elected if not Obama? Have you seen the pool of clowns that the GOP candidates are right now? Bachmann, Perry, Romney, all a joke when it comes to running against Obama.
