Trump has decided to end DACA, with 6-month delay - Page 8

It is TRUE that DACA is not dead. However, if Congress does not act in 6 months then it will REALLY be dead. Thankfully, I just need 1 more renewal to AOS.

We have been hearing this news for months. It's so stupid. Everyone, listen to Swim. DACA is till in effect, wait for official details, and remember that the media has been absolute crap, getting alleged leaks from people who hate us as is. So, you have to take everything with a grain of salt.

Get ready for the immigration debate because Congress is going to address the issue at least for dreamers and border security. This is exciting. Be strong. Keep your minds busy. We are strong, elite immigrants. We never give up and we have balls the size of galaxies.

i aint even mad or worried anymore. they dont have the balls to come for us. if they do they will have to go through a crowd to get us.

Maybe some of the news reported are intentionally leaked from this administration, they are trying to test the water and find out what kind of reaction will it get . Then they will decide on the final decision

No its NOT GOING TO BE DEAD! Stop spreading rumors. People said before it would be dead on "Day 1 of Trump Presidency." I'm sick and tired of the lies and rumors people are spreading on here misleading our members and lurkers. Cut it out and stop speculating and making official announcements.

This, and again. I know this deadline makes this shit seem cutthroat, but (1) he is delaying or giving 6 months (a shit load of time), and (2) it puts pressure on congress to get it fixed. I am optimistic that something can get done. It will not be easy though.

I am curious: what if we get to the 6 month deadline and congress is still working on something? It's Trump. A possibility exists that he will say that he is going to give more time. We never know.

Well, that sucks. I expire in September 2018, so I won't be able to send in my renewal and when DACA ends in 6 months, ill only have 6 months left.

Congress needs to fix the issue period. We cannot rely on daca, or we face the threat of more attacks from the right in court etc.

Damn my EAD expires in 8 months... I will send my renewal next month. Hopefully i get one more renewal.
