This is 100%conditional permanent legalization (i.e. Dream Act) for DACA recipients (And I hope for a broader group of Dreamers as well). They're just using the word DACA freely. Also, I think Trump's base is so strong that Republican revolt will not work. He truly has Ryan and McConnell by the leash right now I feel. This is going to pass. I cannot wait.

Hispanic caucus frustration because Pelosi just yesterday agreed not to do Trump deal w/out conferring w/ them & not tie border to DREAMers.

Seems they don't realize we can't demand much..

Just hope Mitch and Ryan don't become headaches on this... they possibly can't think handing Trump another legislative disaster is going to help them in 2018

A person briefed on the meeting said Trump and the Democratic leaders "agreed to pair the bipartisan DREAM Act with some border security, excluding the wall."

"Ryan would have to put that on the floor, but his party’s president backs it, so presumably that will be fine," the person said.

Yeah - if Ryan and McConnell oppose it now - Repubs will directly be blamed and can't hide behind any excuse.

Trump and Dems are on board.

Yes, Dems have done what they can. It's up to the GOP now. Hopefully we get more clarification in the next few days.
