I watched the video, I don't know how many of you just read the title and hopped on the Trump hate bandwagon.

All I have to say is that maybe the Democrats are asking for amnesty outside of the DACA people, or maybe Democrats wants a MUST path to citizenship.

I thought we were all fine with compromise, what if taking out the citizenship requirement is what Trump wants?

He wants a solution but an amnesty is not what he wants. Why all the hate? Negotiation is a two sided street.

How can you still defend trump after everything he has said about you ? Unbelievable.

Problem is that for them anything is an amnesty...

Instant citizenship? Amnesty.
Instant green card (citizenship as under current law)? Amnesty.
Some long wait for a green card then citizenship? Amnesty.
Permanent status with no pathway to citizenship? Amnesty.
Temporary status with no direct pathway to citizenship? Amnesty.
Temporary legal presence? Amnesty.
Parole (so you can AOS in peace)? Amnesty.
One time blanket waiver so you can go do consular? Amnesty.
Prosecutional discretion? Amnesty.
Looking the other way while you get nothing but don't get outright deported? Amnesty.

Everything aside picking you up right this moment and flinging you across the border is amnesty to those people. Now since you can't make them happy then why even bother? People like Cornyn or Cotton are basically filling in for Sessions. You wouldn't give Sessions a time of day, why are those two given any sort of consideration at all ever.

Bruh, you forgot to mention that they all say, "if they want to live here, they need to fill out the paper work... just apply for citizenship, we're not just gonna give it to you." the thing is, the general american population does not even understand how shitty the immigration system is in our country. i have had people i know literally thinking that getting a green card or citizenship is like going to the DMV.
