Get an advance parole and have your company pay for the fee (about $400). I travel to different countries for my work all the time without any issues. Don't be a lazy millenial snowflake.

Just got a job offer as a developer, I had quit my previous full-time job to gain software development experience through internships. HR just asked me about one of the forms where I said I wasn't a U.S. citizen and had an EAD. I explained my situation and made up a story of how am getting married soon, and will have updated EAD b4 my expiration, now they have to talk to someone regarding it. I'm expecting the offer to be rescinded any day now. The life of a "DACA kid".

You should have just said it was a renewable work permit and not made up anything else lol. HR usually isn’t too nosy about it. They usually ask about the permit because they need a copy of the EAD for tax purposes.

What's the talk about giving DREAMer parents are protected status? An idea I love but sounds too good to be true. Does it include USCs whose parents are undocumented?

They asked what category it was and what it was for, so I kinda had to make things up. I haven't even started yet.
