Sorrybrah, I have the same issue. I sometimes tend to let my ego and pride get the best of me. Even during future soldiers training, I frequently made fun of fellow trainees for their lack of physical fitness. We should probably keep our ego in check at least during basic.

Oh some drills prefer to go after spc first, so some people would take their rank off so they dont stand out as much.

We can do that? If so, I am definitely going to hide my E-4 status. My goal is to remain invisible throughout the entirety of basic.

If youre below E5, then nobody cares about your rank.

They love to smoke egotistical assholes. In most cases, unless you got an old school drill who also happens to be an egotistical asshole that encourages competition and hazing.

For Sorrybruh and my sake, I seriously hope that we get an old school DI. Competition and hazing is in my blood. Hell, that's why I was in a fraternity back in college.

Thank you for your concern, I really appreciate it. During my non-DACA illegal days I learned how to associate with people of the lower caliber, over the years I've set the bar higher and higher which led me to a good career but I realized its different in the Army and that I have to adjust as such.

Every NCO recruiter that I spent time with (Driving me to MEPS etc.) there is just seem to be something wrong with them. But with every Captain and up I've spoken to are on the same wavelength as I am.

Sigh I guess I am just venting but trust me, I know what to do. I can't wait until all of this is over.

In other thoughts, I am proud of both Lost and Unthinkable, impressive resumes, schools, and even careers.
