Well.. that's how. It says 'green card was produced' .. so it was produced and shipped. Got it three days after that messaged showed up.

I was expecting it to ship three days after 'card was produced' and then a tracking number to show up, then receive it a few days after that. It was surprising to see it so quickly.

Ok Guys, I think I may have just been approved..... Did any of you have something similar to this?

there was a receipt number close to mine that was also DACA and hadn't been approved, I checked their number this morning and their !-765 status had changed to "card has begun production" I was pretty bummed because my case was still no change.

I expire on the 13th and have not put in any SR or anything, HR was hounding me at work and I was sweating bullets....I checked a few hours later at work and my case had changed!

It changed to: "On October 30, 2016, we began producing your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization" There was no change on the I-812....So then I went into ELIS and saw that on there my DACA had been approved and no update on the EAD.

So I'm assuming this means approval? I didn't get an E-mail or text or anything.

If so, how likely do you all think it is that I can get my physical card before next Friday? I don't want to do LOA.

God is good all the time, this was definitely a test of patience and control, I had planned to submit a SR tomorrow as I was already at around the 110 day mark.

Yup, you've been approved. I got the same thing this morning.

Hard to say on the EAD arrival but I estimate we should get it in the next 2-3 weeks. Try to see if your employer will accept the i-821D approval notice in the mean time to allow you to continue to work while you're waiting for your EAD to arrive. The dates on the notice will be the dates on your card.

I think it's unlikely but I hope I am wrong. I was approved on the 19th, card was produced on the 27th. Still waiting to receive it.

You're approved. Congrats! Gives me some hope that I might hear something this week since my application was received on 7/14.

according to the trend, it'll take about 2 weeks for your card to be produced and then it'll be mailed out and that takes another 3 days

my card was in production on the 18th and produced on the 27th but i haven't received it yet .

Just got a call from my work telling me I've been terminated but I will be rehired upon proof of EAD.
Which is fine, it just sucks because I have a feeling my card will be here sometime this week. The agony! I'm glad my work is willing to rehire me. Even though I've only been working there for less 3 months.
I shall wait some more....

Just in case anyone is trying to renew their DL in Texas.
I went to the DMV today with my i-797 form. I went to the Mega Center in Spring.
The lady that did not initially want to process my Renewal with just the i-797. I let her know that according to the documents to verify lawful presence, an i-797 was an acceptable document, since it had an Alien number on the form.
She was reluctant, but I was pretty firm that it was a valid document.
She said that unless something changed since the last time she checked, that it wouldn't work. She ended up scanning the form just to please me, thinking it wouldn't go through. Within 5 seconds my paper license printed, she seemed a bit surprised.

In short, I don't think that all the agents are up to date on what's going on with immigration. So be courteous, and understand that you'll need to be kind but be able to present the facts. * I printed out the documents in case I was challenged*

For a split second I wanted to get upset, but then I realized how it must feel to have somebody tell you how to do your job. So I smiled, gave her the facts, and asked her to please help.

Good luck to everyone. Now I gotta fight the post office they lost my EAD
