DACA-AP-AZ DL-SS# has my First name +2 Maiden last names-married last name! TIA!!
Whatever your legal name is now. Use that. If you changed your name via marriage (certificate), from the day you signed that document, that's your legal name. Start using it and if possible changing everything to match that.

Thanks! Very anxious more than anything, I will be glued to my mailbox waiting for the interview letter. I hope they don't ask for more than I already submittted.

Question:

I am reading that some of you, after the interview, received an EAD and AP card in the mail. If one already has an EAD, do you get a new one? Do you also get a new SSN card? What is an AP card?

I was under the impression you could just use your GC to work and travel (alongside your SSN and native passport),

Ack!

Those AP/EAD combo are for when your AOS application is pending. Once you have your GC, EAD/AP aren't needed.

For some ridiculous reason, some people's AP and EAD arent approved until after their GC. Goes to show how unorganized USCIS is.

EADs are suppose to be completed in three months from start to finish. If AP is approved within a requisite timeline then a new document would likely be issued reflecting travel authorization. EAD/AP cards are work and travel authorized together. However, it cannot compared to a Green Card in many respects.

On the SSN thing, what most DACA users may have forgotten is to change their status associated with it. Every effort should be made to update their immigration status with the Social Security Administration. The SSA will update their records when Green Cards and US citizenship are presented. It is easier to check your status within the system by simply checking your SSN and a new unrestricted card is issued.

Great news! I am officially a permanent resident of the United States Had my interview today and everything went smooth. My wife got asked most of the questions, all about how and when we met. Went thru our photos etc and thru the application verifying the questions. Thanks to everyone for their help!
