Hi all. I finally received my card today. Here is the detailed timeline:
Application received: 07/14/2016
Biometrics: 9/2/2016 (walk-in, scheduled for 9/14)
Expired: 10/26/2016
Approval and EAD under production: 11/3/16
EAD produced: 11/9/16
EAD sent: 11/10/16
Received EAD: 11/12/16

2) Did you use a paper clip for I 821 D? Im aware that you shouldn't staple.

Yes! Unfortunately I have been unemployed and I had to save money for the application. I also took my sweet time for the same reason. Also, my friend received his renewal within a month. Since this is my first renewal I thought that was the norm. Little did I know that I would finally get a job offer and that more than 6 months later I would still be waiting. So yeah... if I would've known I would have applied like a year before my expiration.

Does anyone know how long long is USCIS taking to send the actual work permit? My case is being processed in Nebraska. I was approved for DACA on October 17th and I'm still waiting for my card. I hope it comes soon so, I can start looking for a job.

So, do you think sending it 5 days earlier than the 120 day rule will be a deal breaker? Lol

Hey Guys, my EAD expires on April of next year so i am between the 150-120 days of expiration timeframe so im sending my renewal package this week. I have a question regarding form I-765. On question 11 it asks which USCIS office approved my case plus the date. I lost the letter of approval from when my ead was renewed last year . How do i find this info if i dont have the letter ? my EAD card shows LIN for card number. Does that mean anything?
