Uhhh I just got a text and email saying my I765 got approved. "we ordered your card to be produced. we will mail your card..."

Mine was super early.

Expires: 4/19/17

Application sent/received within that 120-150 days period: 11/9/16

BIO appt: 12/16/16 (5 days ago!!!) - went on scheduled date, didn't want to mess up the process somehow by walking in early. That's just me lol

This is my second renewal. First renewal got approved less than 2 months from Bio appt and 2 months before expiration of then, current EAD. I'm an overstay with no criminal background. I don't consider myself a "complicated" case.

I'm excited, but im not going to get my hopes up till i get my card. I know beggers can't be choosers, but it does kind of suck that I might end up losing 4 months of EAD time lol. Anybody know if that will be the case?

And my 821 hasn't been updated yet. Should i be concerned?

Also, I can only imagine how stressful it's been for the people that have applied months ago and are still waiting. I'm genuinely sorry that you guys are going through that bs.

Well, that sucks too! We can never get it right with USCIS! I hope you don't have to lose those 4 months! Good luck!

Congratulations! I wouldn't worry about what Trump may or may not do. It won't do any good. Let's just enjoy the victories for now.

First and foremost, I am new to the group.
My application too was delayed and in these long months of panic I depended on this website to read everyone's approval stories and frustration stories and it let me know that I wasn't alone.
My timeline was
Received Application: 06/17/16
Bio: 07/06/16
Expiration: 11/16/16
I work for a major bank and I was put on unpaid LOA on 11/16/16. They gave me 30 days. I knew I wouldn't get anything done by 12/16/16. So thankfully, the high executives gave me another 30 days.

So here I am waiting until 01/16/16.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday & honestly, I couldn't even get in the mood.
But this morning I received an email from USCIS & I even rolled my eyes when I got it bcs I thought "here we go again with a dumb response to a service request." To my surprise, my I765 was approved & card went to production as of 12/21/16! I couldn't believe my eyes. I called my mom and I honestly don't even know how she understood what I was saying through all my screaming.

My brother and I always renew together and his was approved on 10/13/16 and when i saw mine wasn't I knew something was wrong. Today, i finally saw some light and I am so excited to go back to work.

I know this is tough.. actually tough is not even the correct word to use here but don't give up hope guys. I got my congressman involved and the ombudsman.. don't stop fighting.
I thank you all sharing your stories and giving me hope.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting. Don't give up hope.

Thanks for sharing your story. I've also been waiting for what feels like forever. It does seem hopeless sometimes, but stories like yours remind me that it isn't over. So i keep calling and asking about my case. Tomorrow might be the day...

Hello. This is my first time posting here. After all of your comments helped me with my first renewal and now going through my second renewal I figured you guys could help me/shine some light into what's going on. My time line is the following:

Current EAD expiration date: April 8th 2017
11/9 - Mailed out
11/10 - Delivered
11/13 - Forms Received
11/19 - Biometrics Scheduled & mailed out.
12/8 - Biometrics appointment (Of course went)
12/18 - I765 APPROVED & Card in production
12/19 - I821D APPROVED
12/21 - Card produced.

12/22 - So today I got a text saying my case was updated and when I checked form I765 status chanced to "On April 7, 2017, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment
Authorization". (not sure if this was changed on the 21st since I didn't check nor did I get a notification)

Anyways has anyone else's case changed like that? Changed to a future date I mean. I'm worried that now both forms I-821D and I-765 will/might have different approval dates. I'm starting to freak out because for my sister her time line is:

Current EAD expiration date April 12th 2017
Forgot the date - Mailed out
11/16 - Forms Received
11/19 - Biometrics scheduled
12/8 - Biometrics appointment
12/11 - I765 APPROVED & Card in production
12/12 - I821D APPROVED
12/14 - Card Produced

and today she received her new EAD with the dates:
Valid from 12/12/2016
Expires on 12/11/2018

So she now has two EAD's! I called in and told them the situation and they said that everything is okay and that she should continue using her current EAD until it expires and then use her new one. I am now so confused, since my information changed while hers while it got renewed early it matches with the statuses on the USCIS website.

So what is your opinion guys? Also sorry for the long post!!

Hello! I'm pretty sure someone else posted that they received a super early approval but their new card starts with a future date. So, unlike your sister maybe your new card won't have a valid date until your current one expires... which is pretty cool because you won't be losing any months. I guess you will have to wait and see what the actual dates are on your card.
