Hey guys, I'm new here. I sent my renewal package on December 15th and haven't received any email or text letting me know my application was received. Is this normal? Im worried because my work authorization expires March 8th.

DACA APPROVAL : TBD
EAD: TBD.
Thank you! I really hope you get yours really soon. If you haven't already I suggest to contact your congressman! I am not sure if that did it for me or if it was just coincidence but I got approved after contacting mine. I also kept calling Uscis all the time and making service requests. Just keep trying! Keep us posted!

Hi! I wouldn't worry too much at this point. I'm not sure what's considered normal but I don't think it's been too long.

Hey everybody, I was filling out the forms and in the 1st page of the I-821D the first question where you have to put renewal request and then it asks you for a the expiration date of your current one, that was the only field that wasn't habilitated to fill with the keyboard I had to do it manually, was I the only one and was there a reason for this? Also this was the latest form in the main uscis page but it said it expired on 06/30/2016, that was the one I send but it seem odd, can someone clarify that for me?
Thanks

So apparently application fees went up by $30 my lawyer never notified me of this so I had to go and that's when I was told that I needed to get a $30 money order. So they'll send my application almost 2 months after my permit expired...

That sounds like B.S . Fees did not go up until Dec 23rd. Anything postmarked before that date was still applicable for the old fees. How long have they had your application ? If they've had it longer than a few weeks it sounds like negligence to me.

It was the same way for me when filing. There are a couple of fields you must manually enter.

As for the form date as long as you got it from the link below its the correct one. Here are the notes for the "Edition Date'.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-821d

Edition Date

"06/04/14. A new edition of this form is coming soon. In the meantime, customers may file using the 06/04/14 edition. We will not accept previous editions. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions."

Good evening everyone
Just here to let everyone know I got approved today. Here's the info.

Renewal sent: 8-8-16 (late according to new USCIS renewal time)
Routed to Nebraska Processing Center: 8-12-2016
Bio appointment: 8-29-16
DACA expired: 11-13-16

EAC renewed 12-23-16
DACA renewed 12-26-16.
I didn't receive a text or email so I found out today.

Not sure why my EAC was approved before my DACA but I am just glad this is all over with. I need to get back to work.

For those still patiently waiting I wish you all have a speedy approval.

Glad they're working during the break. Gives me a little hope.
